Procter & Gamble Appoints Shailesh Jejurikar as Board Chairman
Procter & Gamble has appointed Shailesh Jejurikar as Chairman of its Board of Directors, succeeding Jon Moeller, who is retiring from the position.
The company said the leadership transition is part of its long-term succession plan and reflects confidence in Jejurikar’s decades of experience within the consumer goods business.
Jejurikar has held several senior leadership roles across P&G’s global operations, overseeing major brands and driving growth in key international markets.
Company officials said his appointment will help maintain continuity while supporting future innovation and expansion across the company’s product portfolio.
The leadership change comes as Procter & Gamble continues investing in product innovation, supply-chain improvements and digital transformation.
The company has focused on strengthening its premium brands while managing higher production costs and changing consumer preferences.
Industry analysts believe the appointment provides stability for investors because Jejurikar has extensive operational experience and a strong understanding of global consumer markets.
P&G remains one of the world’s largest manufacturers of household and personal care products.
Market observers expect the company to continue pursuing steady revenue growth through innovation, operational efficiency and expansion in emerging markets under its new leadership.
