Dubai International Airport has once again been ranked the world’s busiest airport for international passenger traffic, according to new figures released by aviation analytics firm OAG.

The airport recorded about 4.35 million scheduled international seats for July, remaining ahead of London Heathrow and other major global hubs.

The ranking reflects continued recovery in international air travel, particularly across long-haul routes connecting Europe, Asia and Africa.

Dubai’s strategic location has helped it remain a major centre for global aviation and business travel.

Airport operators said strong passenger demand has been supported by increased tourism, business travel and expanding airline networks.

Airlines based in the Gulf region have also continued adding new destinations to meet growing demand.

Industry analysts believe international travel will continue expanding as airlines increase capacity and consumers prioritise overseas travel despite economic uncertainty.

Aviation remains one of the fastest-recovering sectors following disruptions in previous years.

Experts expect Dubai International to maintain its leadership position as airlines continue investing in new aircraft and expanding global connectivity.
