Coca-Cola Suspends Fairlife Dairy Production Following Cyberattack

Last Updated: July 18, 2026By

Coca-Cola has temporarily suspended production at its Fairlife dairy operations in the United States after the company suffered a ransomware cyberattack.

The incident affected production systems, forcing the company to halt manufacturing while efforts are underway to restore normal operations.

The company disclosed the attack in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, confirming that the disruption is limited to Fairlife’s operations in the United States. Production facilities in Canada continue to operate without interruption.

Fairlife is one of Coca-Cola’s leading dairy brands and is estimated to have generated about four billion dollars in sales by 2024.

The company has not announced when production will resume or how long recovery efforts are expected to take.

Cyberattacks targeting food and beverage manufacturers have become increasingly common in recent years.

Similar incidents involving major companies have previously led to prolonged production delays and temporary shortages of products on store shelves.

Coca-Cola has not released further details about the attack or identified those responsible. The company continues to work on restoring its affected systems while monitoring the impact on its supply chain.
