Boeing has maintained its 20-year forecast for global commercial aircraft demand despite geopolitical tensions and market uncertainty.

The company expects airlines worldwide to require more than 43,000 new aircraft over the next two decades as international travel and air cargo continue expanding.

Boeing said airlines are continuing to replace older aircraft with newer fuel-efficient models to reduce operating costs and meet environmental goals.

Demand from fast-growing aviation markets in Asia, Africa and the Middle East is expected to drive much of the future expansion.

The aircraft manufacturer believes recent geopolitical developments have had little impact on long-term aviation demand.

Airlines remain focused on expanding capacity to meet rising passenger traffic and strengthening their international networks.

Industry analysts noted that global aircraft manufacturers continue benefiting from strong order books despite ongoing supply-chain challenges. Increasing tourism and business travel are expected to support production for many years.

The forecast provides confidence for aerospace suppliers and investors, who rely on long-term production plans and sustained airline investment across the aviation industry.
