AI-Powered Travel Company Fora Reaches One Billion Dollar Valuation
Travel technology company Fora has secured 60 million dollars in Series D funding, raising its valuation to one billion dollars and officially achieving unicorn status.
The investment round was led by Forerunner and Tactile Ventures, with additional backing from Insight Partners and Thrive Capital.
Founded in 2021, Fora operates a platform that enables individuals to become professional travel advisors by providing tools for customer communication, itinerary planning, and business management.
Travelers can also connect with advisors for assistance in planning vacations, family trips, honeymoons, and other travel experiences.
The newly raised funds will be used to expand the company’s artificial intelligence assistant, known as Via.
The system helps travel advisors complete time-consuming administrative tasks such as research and itinerary preparation, allowing them to focus more on customer relationships and personalized service.
Since its launch, travel advisors using the platform have booked more than three billion dollars in travel services. Many of these advisors entered the travel industry through Fora without prior professional experience.
The company also plans to use the investment to expand into additional travel sectors, including cruise bookings and airline services, while continuing to strengthen its technology-driven support for travel professionals.
