Reflection AI Secures $1 Billion Computing Partnership with Nebius
Reflection AI, an American artificial intelligence startup developing open-weight AI models, has signed a computing infrastructure agreement worth approximately $1 billion with European technology company Nebius.
Under the partnership, Nebius will provide Reflection AI with access to Nvidia’s latest graphics processing units, enabling the startup to train and deploy increasingly advanced AI models.
The agreement follows another recent computing partnership that gives Reflection access to SpaceX’s computing infrastructure.
The deal reflects the growing competition among AI companies to secure sufficient computing power, which has become one of the industry’s most valuable resources.
As demand for AI development continues to increase, access to high-performance hardware has become essential for maintaining technological competitiveness.
Reflection AI, founded in 2024 by two former Google DeepMind researchers, has already attracted significant investor support.
The company is currently valued at approximately $8 billion and has raised nearly $2.6 billion from investors, including Nvidia, Sequoia Capital, and Lightspeed Venture Partners.
Nebius has also expanded rapidly through major infrastructure agreements.
Following a multibillion-dollar investment from Nvidia, the company secured a long-term partnership with Meta valued at up to $27 billion.
Nvidia also had a previous multi-year agreement with Microsoft worth up to $19.4 billion, strengthening its position in the global AI infrastructure market.
