SusHi Tech Tokyo 2026 Redefines Global Tech Conferences with Focus on Real Deals
SusHi Tech Tokyo 2026 is positioning itself as more than a traditional technology conference, emphasizing real business outcomes over passive networking. Scheduled to host around 60,000 participants, the event is structured to facilitate meaningful connections and tangible deals.
One of the standout features of the event is its emphasis on pre-arranged meetings. Organizers have coordinated approximately 10,000 business discussions in advance, using a digital platform that matches participants based on their interests and objectives.
The event’s official application functions as a matchmaking system, allowing attendees to connect, communicate, and schedule meetings before arriving. On-site, digital tools such as QR-based contact exchanges further streamline interactions and eliminate traditional networking barriers.
A unique aspect of the conference is its reverse pitch format, where corporations and government bodies present challenges to startups, inviting them to propose solutions. This approach shifts the traditional dynamic and encourages more collaborative innovation.
The event will feature 750 startups, with more than half coming from outside Japan, alongside representatives from dozens of countries. This diverse participation underscores the conference’s role as a global hub for innovation and investment opportunities.
For those unable to attend in person, organizers have introduced remote participation options that allow virtual attendees to interact with participants on the ground in real time. The initiative reflects a broader effort to make the event accessible while maintaining its focus on active engagement and deal-making.
