Zambia’s ambitious 51-Tower Project has enabled the remote village of Kalunkumya to connect to mobile networks for the first time.

This initiative is a component of a broader initiative to construct 80 mobile towers by the end of 2025, with the objective of promoting access to fundamental digital services and bridging the rural connectivity divide.

This encompasses more than just phone calls for the residents of Kalunkumya; it also means access to education, healthcare, mobile finance, and national discussions.

It is a mere dot on the map, but it represents a significant forward step in the direction of digital inclusion in vulnerable communities.
