Samsung Sets February 25 Date for Galaxy S26 Unveiling
Samsung has confirmed plans to host its next Galaxy Unpacked event on February 25 in San Francisco, where the tech giant is expected to introduce its Galaxy S26 smartphone lineup.
Invitations sent out on Tuesday signal another major product cycle for the company, with artificial intelligence once again positioned as a core focus.
According to Samsung, the upcoming Galaxy S26 series is designed to make everyday interactions easier and more intuitive, with Galaxy AI deeply embedded into the user experience from the moment the device is powered on.
The company says the goal is to deliver smarter features that feel natural rather than intrusive.
One of the most talked-about additions is a new privacy display feature expected to debut on the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
This technology would allow users to shield sensitive parts of their screen—such as notifications—from nearby onlookers, offering an added layer of discretion in public spaces.
Hardware-wise, reports indicate that Samsung will use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Elite Gen 5 processor for devices sold in the United States and China, while other markets may receive Samsung’s in-house Exynos 2600 chip.
While Snapdragon processors have historically held a performance edge, industry observers note that the gap between the two platforms has narrowed significantly.
Beyond smartphones, Samsung is also expected to refresh its Galaxy Buds line with the launch of the Galaxy Buds 4, featuring a redesigned look.
The event will begin at 10 a.m. PT and will be streamed live via Samsung’s website and YouTube channel, alongside promotional credits for early registrants.
