SAHCO Reports a Six-Month Profit of N8.14 billion
The half-year ending June 30, 2025, saw Skyway Aviation Handling Company record a profit after tax of N8.14 billion, up 155.4 percent from N3.19 billion in the same time in 2024.
According to the company’s recently submitted unaudited financial records with the Nigerian Exchange Limited, its revenue for the period increased by 73.9% to N21.06 billion from N12.11 billion during the same period the previous year.
Additionally, direct expenses rose by 29.3% to N6.59 billion from N5.10 billion in H1 2024, yielding a gross profit of N14.47 billion as opposed to N7.01 billion in the same period of 2024.
During the review period, other operating income increased from N129.56 million to N217.32 million.
Administrative costs increased from N3.37 billion in H1 2024 to N4.66 billion.
Operational profit was N10.03 billion, up from N3.77 billion during the same time last year. While finance expenses decreased from N154.13 million to N132.88 million, finance income decreased from N217.26 million to N65.94 million.
Profit before tax increased by 160% during the period under review, from N3.83 billion in H1 2024 to N9.96 billion.
During the time, the company paid N1.82 billion in taxes, up from N647.02 million the previous year.
The half-year total comprehensive income was N7.90 billion, up from N4.26 billion during the same time previous year.
Earnings per share, including basic and diluted, increased from 235 kobo in H1 2024 to 601 kobo.
SAHCO’s total assets as of June 30, 2025, were N52.97 billion, up from N37.96 billion in June 2024 and N41.78 billion at the end of December 2024.
