Satya Nadella
Despite Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella’s assertion that he enjoys podcasts, he may be no longer actively listening to them.
This information is present after a more extensive Bloomberg profile of Nadella, which concentrates on Microsoft’s AI strategy and its intricate relationship with OpenAI.
To demonstrate the extent to which he employs the company’s Copilot AI assistant in his daily life, Nadella stated that he has transitioned from listening to podcasts to uploading the transcripts to Copilot.
He then converses with Copilot about the content during his commute to the office.
In addition, Nadella, who playfully referred to his position as “email typist,” stated that he depends on at least ten custom agents that were created in Copilot Studio to summarize emails and messages, prepare for meetings, and perform other office duties.
It appears that AI is already having a significant impact on Microsoft, as programmers were the most severely affected by the company’s recent cutbacks.
This occurred shortly after Nadella announced that 30% of the company’s code was written by AI.
