Andela experienced rapid growth as a result of the backing of investors such as Mark Zuckerberg. It helped demonstrate that young Africans could compete on a global scale and provided training to thousands of developers. Iyin’s concerns were not solely business-related; they were also personal. He was profoundly convinced that the continent could be transformed by unleashing the human potential of Africa.

However, Iyin concluded that it was time to depart after contributing to the construction of Andela. He desired to resolve an alternative issue.

Construction of African Payments Infrastructure with Flutterwave

Iyin co-founded Flutterwave in 2016, a company that simplifies the process of receiving and sending money for African enterprises. Payments across African countries were unreliable, costly, and sluggish prior to the implementation of Flutterwave. A number of businesses encountered difficulties. Individuals were excluded.

That was altered by Flutterwave. It provided modest enterprises with a means to sell across borders, receive payment online, and expand. Flutterwave is currently one of the most valuable technology enterprises in Africa, providing services to millions of consumers in numerous countries.
