India AI Impact Summit Draws Global Tech Leaders and Major Investment Commitments
India has positioned itself as a rising global hub for artificial intelligence as it hosts a four-day AI Impact Summit aimed at attracting large-scale investment and technological partnerships.
The event has drawn participation from major AI firms, global executives, and heads of state.
Attendees include leaders from OpenAI, Anthropic, Nvidia, Google, and Microsoft, alongside prominent figures such as Sundar Pichai, Sam Altman, and Reliance Chairman Mukesh Ambani.
The Indian government announced plans to allocate one point one billion dollars to a state-backed venture capital fund focused on AI and advanced manufacturing.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also scheduled to deliver a joint address with French President Emmanuel Macron.
Major corporate deals were unveiled during the summit, including Blackstone’s investment in AI startup Neysa and Anthropic’s decision to open its first Indian office in Bengaluru.
Several companies also announced new data centers, multilingual AI models, and infrastructure partnerships.
Officials revealed that more than eighty-eight countries signed the New Delhi AI Declaration, signaling a shared commitment to using artificial intelligence for social and economic development, while India aims to attract over two hundred billion dollars in AI infrastructure investment within two years.
