Honor Launches Slim Magic V6 Foldable With Larger Battery

Last Updated: March 2, 2026By

Honor has launched its new foldable smartphone, the Magic V6, featuring a 6,600 mAh battery and a redesigned hinge ahead of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

The device measures 4mm when unfolded and 8.75mm when folded, reinforcing Honor’s focus on ultra-thin foldable design.

While the reductions are marginal, the company says they reflect continued engineering improvements.

Battery capacity is a key upgrade, supported by fast wired and wireless charging. Honor also showcased new battery technology that could push future foldables beyond 7,000 mAh.

The Magic V6 includes a large internal AMOLED display and a secondary cover screen, both supporting adaptive refresh rates for improved power efficiency. A new steel hinge reduces crease depth and improves durability.

Powered by a flagship processor and equipped with multiple cameras, the device also supports file sharing and notification syncing with Apple products.

Honor said the phone will launch in select international markets later this year, with pricing to be announced.
