Manus AI, the ubiquitous AI agent platform from China, has released an iOS app and upgraded the AI model fueling its back end to Anthropic’s Claude 3.7 Sonnet, as further enhancement to its platform.
The company also introduced two subscription plans that commence at $39 per month.
Manus, an AI-powered agentic tool that is currently in beta, is capable of completing a wide range of tasks, including the creation of a web page for a wedding invitation and the creation of a baseball game scoring sheet.
Nevertheless, we discovered that the platform fails to meet some of its more ambitious marketing objectives during our testing.
The most affordable of Manus’ new premium programs is $39 per month, which includes 3,900 credits and the capacity to execute two duties concurrently.
Users are granted 19,900 credits, priority access during peak hours, and the capacity to execute five duties simultaneously with the additional, more expensive new plan, which costs $199 per month.
Top-up bundles are available to Premium Manus subscribers who require additional credits. The prices of these items were not readily apparent.
In a post on X, Manus stated, “We have temporarily restricted access to Manus during this development phase, as we are working tirelessly to expand our infrastructure and accommodate all users.”
“We are also working on optimizing our current usage rates to provide better value for our users.”
