Apple to Announce iOS, iPadOS and macOS Updates at WDC

Last Updated: March 12, 2025By

Bloomberg reports that Apple will disclose new redesign updates for iOS, iPadOS, and macOS at its Worldwide Developers Conference in June of this year.

Bloomberg reports that the modifications, which are scheduled to be implemented with iOS 19, iPadOS 19, and macOS 16, will affect numerous components of the operating systems, such as “changing the appearance of icons, menus, applications, windows, and system buttons.”

Additionally, the updates are designed to streamline the user experience on Apple devices and ensure that the software is more consistent.

Apple claims that the design revisions will be the most significant for the Mac since macOS Big Sur and the most significant for iOS since iOS 7.

Nevertheless, Bloomberg indicates that Apple will not consolidate its operating systems.
