Artificial intelligence startup Anthropic has closed a massive $30 billion Series G funding round, pushing its valuation to an estimated $380 billion.

The announcement marks a dramatic leap from the company’s previous valuation of $183 billion following its Series F round.

The funding was led by Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund GIC and investment firm Coatue, with additional backing from major global investors including Founders Fund, MGX, Accel, and the Qatar Investment Authority.

The round underscores growing investor confidence in Anthropic’s long-term role in the AI ecosystem.

The raise comes amid intensifying competition with Open AI, which is also reportedly seeking new funding that could elevate its valuation even further.

The rivalry highlights the scale at which leading AI firms are now operating, both financially and strategically.

Anthropic’s leadership says demand for its Claude AI models is rising rapidly across enterprise customers.

Chief Financial Officer Krishna Rao stated that businesses increasingly rely on Claude for mission-critical operations, driving the need for continued investment in infrastructure and product development.

With this latest infusion, Anthropic is expected to accelerate its push into enterprise-grade AI tools, reinforcing its position as one of the most valuable private technology companies in the world.
