Venture Global Raises 2026 Profit Forecast as LNG Demand Strengthens
U.S. liquefied natural gas producer Venture Global has raised its full-year 2026 adjusted core-profit forecast for the second consecutive quarter.
The company said higher liquefaction fees and increased sales volumes are expected to strengthen its financial performance, sending its shares higher in early trading.
Venture Global is one of the major players in the rapidly expanding U.S. LNG industry, which has become increasingly important to international energy markets.
The company operates LNG export facilities that allow natural gas produced in the United States to be shipped to customers overseas.
The stronger outlook comes as energy markets remain volatile because of geopolitical tensions and uncertainty surrounding global fuel supplies.
Rising demand for natural gas has encouraged LNG producers to expand export capacity, while buyers in Europe and Asia continue seeking reliable supplies.
For Venture Global, higher fees and stronger sales volumes provide an opportunity to increase revenue while continuing to develop its large-scale LNG projects.
The company has been expanding its export infrastructure as it seeks to increase its presence in the international natural-gas market.
Investors responded positively to the revised forecast, reflecting expectations that the company could benefit from continued demand for LNG.
Venture Global’s performance will also be watched by energy-market participants as they assess the strength of U.S. LNG exports during a period of significant volatility in global energy prices.
