British artificial intelligence company Synthesia has introduced a new interactive training solution designed to help employees improve workplace communication through realistic practice sessions.

The new product, called Roleplay Sessions, allows users to engage in simulated conversations with AI generated avatars that provide feedback and performance assessments.

The platform is designed to support training in areas such as sales presentations, leadership conversations, customer service and performance reviews.

Instead of simply watching instructional videos, employees actively participate in conversations and receive detailed evaluations based on established performance criteria.

According to Synthesia Chief Executive Officer Victor Riparbelli, practical experience combined with immediate feedback produces stronger learning outcomes than passive training materials alone.

The company believes businesses are increasingly looking for measurable improvements in employee performance rather than simply investing in content creation.

The new service also strengthens Synthesia’s position in the enterprise software market by combining its proprietary avatar technology with artificial intelligence models that analyse employee performance.

Organisations can monitor learning progress across teams and identify areas where additional coaching may be required. Several multinational companies have already begun deploying the platform on a large scale.

Synthesia plans to expand the service beyond large enterprises by making it available to small businesses, professionals and educational institutions as artificial intelligence technology becomes more affordable.
