Gateway Capital Advances Investment Strategy with New $25 Million Fund
Gateway Capital Partners has announced the first close of its $25 million Fund II, marking a new phase in the firm’s investment operations.
The fund, which began raising capital last year, is expected to support early-stage companies across a range of industries, with a particular focus on sectors primed for innovation.
The firm plans to deploy investments ranging between $500,000 and $600,000 per company, targeting at least 20 startups. While maintaining an industry-agnostic approach, Gateway Capital has expressed interest in areas such as supply chain, logistics, and manufacturing technologies, especially those leveraging artificial intelligence.
Founded in 2020, the firm previously raised a $13 million Fund I, establishing a foundation for its current expansion. The new fund reflects growing investor confidence in emerging markets and the potential for disruption within traditional industries.
With Fund II now operational, Gateway Capital aims to strengthen its role in supporting innovative businesses and fostering economic growth, particularly in regions often overlooked by larger venture capital firms.
