Honor Introduces Robot Phone With Movable Camera and Interactive Features
Honor has revealed new details about its upcoming “Robot phone,” a smartphone featuring a movable camera system designed to respond to users with lifelike motions and gestures.
The device, expected to launch in the second half of the year, includes a motorized camera arm capable of nodding, shaking, and moving in rhythm with music.
The company said users can interact with the device through voice and text commands.
The phone features a 200-megapixel camera mounted on a three-axis stabilization system that allows smooth rotation for photos and video.
A cinematic shooting mode enables controlled camera spins for dynamic visual effects.
The robotic camera also enhances video calls through AI-powered subject tracking, allowing the camera to follow users as they move.
Honor said it developed a custom micro-motor and reinforced materials to ensure durability.
The company introduced the device alongside new tablets, laptops, and foldable phones, signaling a broader push into experimental smartphone design.
