The President of the United States, Donald Trump, has said that the most powerful Artificial Intelligence chips in the world will be made in the United States.

He said this after the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) unveiled plans to invest $100 billion dollars for four years to support the production of AI Chips in the U.S.

This investment aims to boost its chip output on American soil and support President Donald trump’s goal of increasing domestic manufacturing.

The TSMC CEO, C.C. Wei, had met with Trump to have further discussion on the company’s vision and its strategy for implementation.

This is among the many supports that has come into the U.S to boost technology since the President came into power in January this year.
