The consumer goods giant, Unilever is set to welcome a new Chief Executive Officer, Fernando Fernandez by April.

Fernandez, who is the current finance chief will replace Hein Schumacher who has been joined the company in July 2023, Unilever said.

Schumacher is leaving by mutual agreement, it added. Srinivas Phatak, currently Unilever’s deputy chief financial officer and group controller, will become acting CFO, it said.
